Visa Use and Travel Questions
Can I use my Bahrain eVisa multiple times?
Only if you have the multiple-entry eVisa (BHD 27). The standard single-entry eVisa (BHD 5) allows only one entry. After exiting Bahrain on a single-entry visa, it becomes void.
Can I extend my stay beyond 14 days on a single-entry eVisa?
In general, eVisa extensions are not available. You must leave Bahrain before your permitted stay expires. Overstaying may result in fines, deportation, or future entry bans. Apply for a multiple-entry visa if you need flexibility.
Can I enter Bahrain by land or sea with my eVisa?
Yes. The Bahrain eVisa is valid for entry via Bahrain International Airport (BAH), the King Fahd Causeway land border (from Saudi Arabia), and Bahrain's seaports. Confirm the specific entry point is accepted when applying.
Do I need to carry a printed copy of my eVisa?
It is advisable to have either a printed copy or the PDF accessible on your phone. The eVisa is stored electronically against your passport, so Bahraini immigration can see it in the system, but a backup is always helpful.
What if my eVisa is rejected?
Rejections can happen for various reasons. See our guide on Bahrain eVisa rejection reasons to understand the most common causes and how to reapply successfully.
